As well
as being a multi group placer and group winner, an Award Of Merit
winner at the Nationals, Farlap was also awarded the Top Show Dog
certificate by the Canadian Kennel Club, for placing 4th in the
total number of points won by a Basenji in 2006. Only shown in the
ring 8 times, that's quite an accomplishment!
In
2007, Farlap was invited to attend the AKC Eukanuba National
Championship show in Long Beach, CA, USA. This prestigious show is
by invitation only. Only the finest dogs are considered. It is quite
an honor to be invited.
Farlap is now a
wonderful companion to Kerry and her son, living on Vancouver
Island. Although Farlap did very well in the show ring, I felt it
was best for him to be in a family home environment."
