Lexus has done very well from the the
first time that she ever set foot in the show ring thus following in her father's paw prints; In fact
she has exceeded her father's paw prints...
From her first show at the tender age of
6 months she has taken the ring by storm, along the way setting
Basenji Breed Records as a junior and senior puppy.
She is the youngest Basenji puppy on record
to finish her Canadian Championship at just 6 1/2
months, finishing is style with a Group 1st.
In four short months in The Atlantic Region
(June 2010 to the end of September 2010) she has achieved:
- 5 Best Puppy In Shows (tying the breed
record & setting the breed record as a female)
- 28 Best Puppy In Groups (setting a new
record)
- # 1 Hound Puppy in Canada
- # 5 ALL BREED Puppy in Canada
- 4 Group 1sts (setting the record as a
junior puppy)
- 18 Group Placements (setting the record as
a puppy)
- NEVER being awarded a Group 4th
placement as a puppy (another breed record)
For the year 2010, Lexus was awarded:

PEI VETERINARY ASSOCIATION ANIMAL AWARD
FOR 2010 - This award is offered to the
dog who is owned by a PEI resident
earning the most points in Conformation
as well as an award for Obedience and
for Rally-O at the three All Breed Dog
Shows here on PEI.

THE EUKANUBA TOP PUPPY IN ATLANTIC
CANADA AWARD FOR 2010 - This award is
offered to the Puppy who has earned the
most Puppy Groups and Best Puppy In
Shows in ATLANTIC Canada (Nova Scotia,
New Brunswick & Prince Edward Island)
At the 2011 Basenji Club Of
Canada Canadian Nationals Lexus made the final cut for Best
Of Breed at just 18 months of age.
Needless to say, I
am very proud of
what "Miss Sexi Lexi"
(a nick name given
to her by her many
friends in the show
ring) has
accomplished at such
a young age. Lexus
will take a year off
to grow up but
watch for her in the
ring in 2012.
