Montana (aka The
divine Miss M ) was bred by Andrew Sawler and Bill McCann of Kivu
Basenjis in the USA.
I bought her as a
new foundation bitch to bring more of the African genealogy into my
breeding program. Montana is 46% African.
Montana is a very
special girl. My girl. She is always underfoot. If I'm doing the
dishes, she sits at my feet. Go to the bathroom, there she is. Sit
on the couch, she is right next to me. She is my shadow. Of course,
when preparing meals (human or dog), she is quite the little
house-keeper. She is hoping something, anything, will spring off the
counter so she can clean my floor :)) When opening the oven door, I
have to be careful as there is Montana wanting to help me <grin>.
She even follows me into the laundry room to see if she can ' help'.
Many times I've chased her around the house, trying to retrieve
laundry items that she's confiscated and deemed hers <smile>
